Portreath beach is on the north coast of Cornwall and is mainly sandy with a few patches of shingle. The beach is very popular for surfers with great waves coming from the Atlantic and the town itself is a very popular place to visit.
There are coast paths either side of the beach along the cliff tops which offer stunning views of the coast as far as the eye can see.
