This cooldown has always been a hit with my students of all ages.
I choreographed this cool down back in 2015 when I was teaching a dance fitness class and it has stuck with me since and gets used at the end of my ballet, lyrical, freestyle, and even tap classes. I have changed my cool down a few times but this one always ends up back with us!

We Cool Down to prevent injury and avoid dizziness or a build-up of lactic acid in the muscles. An effective cooldown will restore the body to its original state. Gentle cardiovascular exercise, such as jogging or walking, will gradually bring the body temperature down and decrease the heart rate, while stretching will steadily relax the muscles.
