Beginning on the afternoon of Friday, October 5th, 2018, JOM of the Gravel Cyclist crew embarked on a new journey as follows:
1. Ride the Amtrak Auto Train with his car from Sanford, Florida to Lorton, Virginia, which is on the outskirts of Washington, D.C.
2. Poke around Annapolis, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
3. The C&O Canal Towpath Adventure - Day 1 would see JOM and his mate Ed ride from Washington, D.C. to Williamsport, Maryland.
