It's not easy to create a restaurant, especially in today's environment. Learn the front-end experience break down of restaurant production and how to optimize success by following these guidelines for each category that contributes to a Food and Beverage Venture's success. With my expertise in operating our own restaurant brands and marketing over 1,000 restaurant concepts with our Ad Agency NXT, I would love to share all the tips and tricks with you :)
Learn from a seasoned restaurateur with various locations across the United States.
• What is the “front-end” of a restaurant venture?
Consumer-facing: the focus is directed at your clientele (what the customer sees and experiences) (i.e. food, concept, location, construction, structure, ambiance, loyalty program)
• Weight:
-Concept: 30%
(Food, drinks, menu, presentation/plating/arrangement, novelty, instagramability, yelp-worthy, recommendable)
-Location: 20%
(Easy accessibility, neighborhood, environment)
-Construction: 20%
(Ambiance, climate of the clientele, overall “vibe” of the space)
Ask yourself: What type of experience do I want my customers to have?
-Hospitality: 20%
(Overall management of the space)
Ask yourself: What is my restaurant’s service guide/model?
-Loyalty: 10%
(Program that is particular to YOUR restaurant) (i.e. discounts, gifts, email/text subscriber list, stamp cards, gift cards)
Ask yourself: What is my customers’ incentive/reason to return? (You will need a loyalty program that will make your customers feel like a VIP at your establishment & keep them COMING BACK)
*remember: all customers should be repeat customers!
