This video demonstrates the interfacing and operation of a Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) using the 8085 microprocessor and 8255 Programmable Peripheral Interface (PPI) on the ET-8085AD LCD kit.
The experiment illustrates how digital data generated by the microprocessor can be converted into analog voltage signals. By sending different sequences of digital values to the DAC through the 8255 output ports, various analog waveforms can be generated and observed on an oscilloscope.
