Bought XUV500 from Spinny Engine Overheated, Seized Our Nightmare Story.

Описание: We bought a Mahindra XUV500 worth ₹12 lakh from Spinny on 29th October 2025 from their Hunsmaranahalli showroom.
Within 2 days, the car showed an engine overheating warning. We immediately contacted Spinny, but no one came to inspect the car.
On 2nd November, we ourselves took the car to Spinny. They kept the car till 15th November, and later told us that we cannot claim the 5-day return policy, even though the car was in their custody.
On 31st December, while traveling to Goa with women and children, the car again broke down 100 km before Goa. The engine warning came on, and the car completely stopped.
We called Spinny multiple times. They promised help but no one came. We were forced to stay inside the car the entire night on the highway.
On 1st January, we waited till evening. Still no help. Finally, local people helped us contact National Highway authorities, and the vehicle was towed to Hubballi Mahindra showroom.
The Mahindra service manager confirmed that the engine was seized due to part failure and that the repair would cost ₹3–4 lakh.
Even after sharing the manager’s contact and having audio recordings, Spinny accused us of customer negligence and refused responsibility.
Spinny demanded ₹40,000 towing charges, asked us to pay ₹20,000, and later threatened us with ₹500 per day parking charges and police complaint.
We paid ₹12 lakh, drove only 4,000 km, and ended up with a dead engine.
