Today I visited Chop N Chip, the viral steak and chips food truck along the A40 in Park Royal, that everyone’s been hyping up all over TikTok and Instagram!

I ordered their regular steak and chips with Algerian and garlic sauce — cooked medium (or so I thought 👀). The flavour was peppery and nice, but the steak was cooked closer to medium-well, and chopping it directly on the grill made it a bit dry.

As for the chips? Crispy but oily — typical oven-style fried chips. I did, however, speak with the owner who was very open-minded and even took my feedback on board. I’ve since heard they’ve already changed their chips for the better! 🙌
