Dora told Freud in 1900 her famous dream of being rescued by her father from a burning house. Several weeks later she stopped the psychoanalysis she was having with Freud and did not return to it. This film is part of an online event to commemorate the 120th anniversary of Dora telling the dream. The film was made in Freud's apartment in Vienna, which is now the Sigmund Freud Museum, and the apartment is where Dora first told the dream to him.
The commemoration event is part of the Swansea Science Festival, and is occurring at 19.00- 21.00 on Saturday 24th October 2020.
In the event there is a discussion of the dream, of Dora's life, and of the way that the dream depicted her waking life circumstances.

During the event the dream is painted by Julia Lockheart, and at the end of the discussion the attendees of the event can discuss the artwork. This film will be shown during the event.
