Bellevue Kendo Club: Elevate Your Swordsmanship Skills

At the Bellevue Kendo Club, we offer a range of classes designed to cater to different skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced practitioner, our club provides a supportive environment for growth and improvement. Join us throughout the year and embark on a journey of discipline, technique, and camaraderie.

1. Beginning Class:
Focus: Etiquette and fundamental techniques.
What to Expect: Learn the basics, cultivate respect, and lay the groundwork for your kendo journey.
When: Fridays from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

2. Intermediate Class:
Prerequisite: Completion of the beginning class.
Attire: Keikogi (upper uniform) and Hakama (pants) required.
What to Expect: Prepare students for Geiko (Sparring) in the Advanced class.
When: Fridays from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. 30 minutes alongside the Advanced class.

3. Advanced Class:
Requirements: Participants must have a bogu (Armor) set, which you may Rent from the club or purchase from your preferred merchants.
What to Expect: Intensive training and sparring which refine techniques, strategic thinking, and mental discipline.
When: Fridays from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
