“The Illyrian” is a dramatic short film by Cue Tube, built around powerful visual storytelling and reimagined through an original orchestral score.
The film draws on historical and mythic undertones, allowing sound and image to merge into a unified cinematic language.

The new alternative orchestral score was composed to support large-scale emotion, inner conflict and dramatic pacing.
Through thematic development, harmonic contrast and orchestral colour, the music actively participates in the storytelling — shaping rhythm, tension and emotional perspective rather than simply accompanying the image.

This project reflects a film-scoring approach focused on narrative function, where music becomes an integral part of cinematic structure and meaning.
