Описание: Tableau helps people quickly analyze their data. But what if an application was designed with an incomplete understanding of the problem domain, and a data model doesn't exist? In this session, we will explore how users can leverage Tableau's Extract API to create data models. We will share our use-case how we created one of the world s first data models for analyzing patient continuous infusion drugs, as well as the five-minute version of how Texas Children's Hospital is leveraging this data to better treat critically ill pediatric patients. Finally, we will focus on the nuts and bolts of the Extract API, review our use-case in detail, jump into the Extract API, and walk everyone through a step-by-step of creating their first data model.
