We're back to work on our Arrow Dynamics inspired hypercoaster! Using your suggestions from the comments in the last episode, we're making a couple large changes to the new ride. First, we're tweaking the track layout a bit from the original design. Then we'll go through and custom support our lift and first drop section.

The biggest issue everyone had about the original layout of this ride was the first drop section. We had an awkward turn at the top and it resulted in a coaster that didn't exactly resemble an Arrow hyper. We're elongating that first turn which will suite the ride much better. A slight compromise had to be made in terms of the drop's track angle. It may not be as steep as a traditional Arrow due to the space that we needed to fit the bottom of the drop into. I feel that even with this slight compromise, we now have a more authentic ride.

After tweaking the first drop we then have to get the track to meet back up with the existing part of the ride. We end up actually cutting the ride back quite a bit and refine the layout even further. We redo the second and third drop sections of the ride and streamline the track even more. As a result, I think we have a much better and much more flowing track design!

Custom supports was highly desired in the last episode's comment section. I had never done a custom support job on a coaster but the project was pretty fun. We got a bunch of new custom supports in the last patch and they helped tremendously with this project. We try to achieve a traditional Arrow scaffolding style support structure for this lift hill. I did a little research on the coaster formerly called Pepsi Max Big One and took influence from it's supports. What we come up with has a few deviations from authentic Arrow supports but it's still very much inspired by the real deal.
