HMAS Brisbane's Principal Warfare Officer discussed collaborating with regional counterparts the United States, and Japanese navies. Working with the USS Benfold and JMSDF Akizuki, activities included close-in ship manoeuvering and honing cooperative maritime strike capabilities against surface targets.
HMA Ships Brisbane and Warramunga are on deployment to Southeast and Northeast Asia where they are currently conducting a number of Navy-to-Navy engagements with partner nations across the region. This deployment continues the Australian Defence Force’s robust and long-standing program of international engagement in the Indo-Pacific.
