What is marine Electricity??
Electricity that is generated and consumed on ship ,port ,shipyard, or any structure that involves in shipping of cargo from one place to another place is called Marine electricity.

Marine Electricity is very important for shipping operations ,without marine electricity it would be not possible to run auxiliary machineries and the main purpose of shipping cargo from one place to another would not possible.

On ship there are no power grid substation and no possibility to produce the electricity as it generated on shore, for fullfilling the demand of power or electricity on board we use diesel generator.

In this video i am going to cover diesel generator and show you that how the marine electricity is being generated on board and how we meet the demand of electricity onboard for smooth sailing and shipping operations?
