🍍PiNA COLADA SLICE 🍍
Makes 12
340g packet vanilla cake mix
3/4 cup melted butter
440g crushed pineapple, drained
200g sour cream
Preheat oven 180C. Line a 20 x 30cm slice tray with baking paper.
In a separate bowl, mix together the cake mix and melted butter, stir until combined.
Press evenly across the tray and bake for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix together the crushed pineapple and sour cream.
After 15 minutes, remove the cake base from the oven and top with the creamy pineapple mixture.
Return to the oven for 15 minutes. Remove and allow to cool; then refrigerate. As the biscuits cools, it hardens creating a yummy shortbread-like base that is just delicious. Slice to serve.
OPTIONAL: Sprinkle generously with flaked coconut; I like the texture to taste and the tropical combination of pineapple and coconut ~ Hope you do to!
