In 1892, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah travelled to England, at a time when the Subcontinent was under British rule, Muslims were facing immense pressure, and the Ottoman Empire was nearing its decline.
Deeply inspired by English culture, Quaid-e-Azam observed and learned — but never adopted it blindly.
At the very beginning of his career in England, he entered the theatre world, performing Shakespeare and gaining recognition across London. However, despite his talent, theatre doors were eventually closed to him because he was Indian.
