उत्तर प्रदेश में भीषण गर्मी ने 14 साल का रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिया है। तापमान 45 डिग्री सेल्सियस के पार पहुंच गया है, जिससे हालात बेहद गंभीर हो गए हैं। इसी बीच बिजली संकट ने लोगों की परेशानी और बढ़ा दी है। राज्य में 10 से 12 घंटे तक की लंबी बिजली कटौती से जनजीवन प्रभावित है। कहीं-कहीं तो बिजली कुछ देर के लिए आकर तुरंत चली जा रही है। हालात ऐसे हैं कि जनता का गुस्सा सरकार और सिस्टम दोनों के खिलाफ बढ़ता जा रहा है। कानपुर, लखनऊ, बांदा, मुजफ्फरनगर और बरेली जैसे शहरों में लोग सड़क पर उतरकर बिजली विभाग के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं। वहीं, भीषण गर्मी के बीच प्रदेश में रिकॉर्ड 31,000 मेगावाट बिजली की खपत दर्ज की गई है, जो पिछले कई वर्षों में सबसे अधिक है।

Severe heat in Uttar Pradesh has broken a 14-year record, with temperatures crossing 45°C, creating extreme conditions across the state. Along with the heatwave, a major power crisis has worsened the situation. Long power cuts of 10 to 12 hours are being reported in several areas, while in some places electricity comes and goes within minutes. Public anger is rising against both the government and the system. People have taken to the streets in cities like Kanpur, Lucknow, Banda, Muzaffarnagar, and Bareilly to protest against the electricity department. Meanwhile, amid the extreme heat, the state has recorded an all-time high power demand of 31,000 MW, the highest in recent years.
