This is an audience recording of Casiopea performing at an unknown live house some time around late 1977 or early 1978. This is the second oldest known recording of Casiopea, and it includes a similar Midnight Rendezvous arrangement to that of their performance at the Yamaha EastWest '77 music competition (in August 1977). It also includes the earliest example of a synthesizer being used on the Midnight Rendezvous keyboard solo (the next instance would be 1981). Mighty Mouse has a "false start", where the band seems to make a mistake before their 2nd attempt. Given the acoustics, this recording was made at a smaller venue (a "live house"), such as Shinjuku Loft, Shibuya Attic, or a music store like the Yamaha Shibuya store. Interestingly, some English speakers can be heard in the audience just before Mighty Mouse.
I've left in the tuning sections and some slight amounts of ambient noise in order to keep this recording as "natural" as possible. Unfortunately, the original tape had constant issues with the right audio channel, so it fluctuates between being stereo and mono. Midnight Rendezvous is almost completely monaural. As such, I've tried fixing the sound to make it more audibly pleasant in the mono sections.
