Описание: On May 24, 2022, a lone 18-year-old gunman, Salvador Ramos, walked into the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, and began shooting. This was after he shot and killed his grandmother. Local law enforcement surrounded the building, not yet making entry. Parents fought to enter the school. Finally, after 77 minutes, the US Border Patrol SWAT Unit entered the school and ended the shooting spree. The shooter was dead. But along with his death were two teachers and 19 young students. In addition, 17 others were injured. Word on the shooting spread through the tight-knit community like wildfire. Parents rushed to the school hoping to gett their children. Among those who rushed to the school was Uvalde businessman Alfred Garza III. Garza had a lot at stake, the main thing being his young 10-year-old daughter, Amerie Garza. Hoping she had made it out, he went to the funeral home across the street. It had temporarily been converted into a reunification center for parents and children. There, he spent 10 hours not just hoping to find his daughter but also to counsel the terrified children who had been traumatized by the tragic situation. He was soon to learn his only daughter was deceased inside the school. A victim of the shooter. Now, years later, after several media outlets filed with the courts to release documents of the incident, a judge ordered the documents released. On Monday, the school district released hundreds of pages of documents, including text messages, emails, and conversations from the day of the incident.  Uvalde County is said to be doing the same by August 18. However, Garza worries about those being released, as included in is said to be a body cam video from the scene. His worry is that the person will use that on Social Media platforms for all the wrong reasons, even to the point of altering the video to suit their sick minds. Garza said, to this day, people post hate comments toward his daughter and the others lost in the tragedy.  Garza said his little girl was very outgoing; she loved to play jokes on people. The selfless child had a good soul, cared about others more than herself, but could be a bit sassy at times. He said the tight-knit community is now partially divided after the incident. He feels the turmoil started when the people had differing opinions on healing. Some of the townspeople still want answers, while others are good with going on and putting everything behind them.
