Along with the United Way's training arm, the Indiana Nonprofit Resource Network, the Tipton County Foundation has developed a new "take" on some board and volunteer topics. They hope that many leaders as well as potential leaders of volunteer organizations, government boards and commissions, church groups, etc. will attend one or more training sessions this winter.
There will be 5 sessions in all, with topics ranging from boards and budgets to marketing and social media, each of which is led by a professional and respected leader in the field. Best of all, it's low cost; $15 per person per session, or $55 for someone attending all 5.
