Lots of video's show sprays or big equipment for removing fields of invasive weeds like phragmites. But my yard was small and i didn't have all that equipment. So here are the methods i use to remove the phragmites and prevent them from coming back. Using a machete, saw, stomping and mowing i am able to break everything down to just chips. Much easier to do in the fall versus the summer or spring.
