'The Tall Tulsa Terror' was planned to be constructed by Custom Coasters International at Bell's Amusement Park (Tulsa, Oklahoma). It was designed by Dennis McNulty; draft blueprints were created in 1995. Opposition from an adjacent neighborhood led to a decade of delays, but the park remained determined to get it built. Mere weeks after positive agreements resolved their disputes, Bell's permanently closed in 2006. CCI had already been defunct since 2002.
I highly suggest reading the 2010 blog post from NewsPlusNotes on the subject. Somehow, it seems to be the only source of detailed information I could easily find on the project's existence. Its images were the main reason I was able to create this!

In recent months, I've become extremely fascinated by the works of CCI. They literally built over 30 coasters in just one decade of existence! Although the company no longer exists, its two direct successors (The Gravity Group; Great Coasters International) have kept the wood-track legacy alive. This video was created with the goal to showcase one of their most obscure projects while highlighting the elegance of its masterfully-controlled chaos.
I have no clue if I'll be posting much to this account in the future, but who knows? This is only the second coaster I've ever made in NoLimits 2.
