This legendary enduro just received a complete, frame-off, nut-and-bolt restoration to a standard beyond showroom new. Every single component was either plated, polished, painted, or replaced with brand-new or upgraded parts.

The result is a museum-quality, investment-grade KDX200 that looks, runs, and rides like the day it left the Kawasaki factory — only better.

Restoration Process
This was no quick refresh. Our team put 52 hours into a full teardown and rebuild, starting with a low-hour original bike that had a perfect engine and straight wheels but tired cosmetics. We stripped it completely to the bare frame and rebuilt it from the ground up:

Frame: Professionally powder-coated in OEM metallic silver — far superior to factory enamel
Forks: Disassembled, rebuilt with new seals & fluid, new fork boots, lowers refinished
Wheels: Vapor blasted, hubs cleaned, rims trued, new Dunlop Sport D952 tires & tubes
Brakes: Calipers rebuilt, new front brake pads, fresh fluid
Controls: Upgraded Renthal handlebars, ODI grips, Renthal crossbar pad
Drive System: New Renthal sprockets, gold chain, green Renthal rear sprocket, new chain rollers & guide (Frederick Racing Products)
Plastics & Graphics: Brand-new front/rear fenders, side panels, KDX200 headlight assembly, and OEM-style graphics from Steiger Designs
Seat: Original seat cover in outstanding condition
Lighting: Fully functional headlight & taillight
Exhaust: Original Kawasaki expansion chamber in remarkable condition (minor dings), polished aftermarket aluminum silencer
Fuel System: Carburetor ultrasonically cleaned & rebuilt, new fuel and carb drain lines, resealed intake tract, new air filter, airbox in mint condition
Hardware: Every nut, bolt, and fastener inspected, cleaned, replated, or replaced

Restoration Investment
