How to Write 80s Metal Guitar Riffs (Expand Your Creativity)

Описание: This lesson is all about helping you expand your creativity on guitar and write your own 80s metal-style riffs!

We start out with a Dokken-style riff (sort of like the song Kiss of Death). But we immediately start expanding on that riff by adding some more notes.

Now, you don't always have to have more notes...more notes doesn't mean better! But it's just a way to show you how you can come up with different riffs here.

Next, we throw in some really cool arpeggiated chords, which makes it sound even more 80s metal! But we don't stop there. I also show you how to integrate different types of power chords here, and mix and match these different types of chords in the same riff!

The bottom line is this video lesson is all about showing how that the possibilities are endless when it comes to riff writing!
