Testing new gear and exploring a remote backcountry sub-alpine lake is a great way to escape the world for 2 days of solo nature therapy! Join me as I test new backpacking gear and explore the pristine backcountry paradise of the Norse Peak Wilderness. We will camp along an isolated river beneath a peaceful canopy of Douglas Fir then hike up to the remote Echo Lake to see firsthand the scorched forest after a terrible wildfire.
