Two Celeste Screens for Every Difficulty

Описание: So the main reason I wanted to make this video was to kind of update Egfloggy's original video? The community has grown massively since, and along with it, difficulty opinions and perceptions have shifted somewhat, especially at the highest levels, so I thought I'd put together this video to reflect the current status of map-difficulty association more accurately. Of course, this isn't to say that this video will be accurate forever, but I can at least say that at the time of writing and publishing (29 May 2025), every screen I've chosen and attributed to a difficulty here should be accurate! If you're watching in the future, your mileage may vary!

It's worth noting that though I chose two screens for every single subdifficulty, you're not meant to think that any one screen in the same subdifficulty is meant to be easier or harder than the other: for example, even though I placed The Big Reveal after Mauve for Green GM+1, that doesn't mean I consider The Big Reveal to be harder (or easier!) than Mauve—rather, that the general community perception is that those two screens are roughly the same difficulty, and the only difference that really matters is your skillset! Some people may find Mauve's speedchains to be harder, and some people may think The Big Reveal's chaos would be harder; what matters the most is that despite how potentially drastically different some of the gameplay is, it hopefully goes to show that the same difficulty can be taken so many different ways for many different reasons!
