Have you heard of power posing? If you have, you might have also heard that there's a lot of controversy surrounding whether or not power posing actually works. Today, we are going to dive in a little bit to see if we can pick apart the myth that it is a bunch of hocus-pocus and by the end, you might be a believer. Plus, I'm going to share with you some different power poses and what they can teach you as you are on your journey of self-realization.

If you haven't heard of power posing it is a technique made popular by a social psychologist named Amy Cuddy when her research found that the ways in which we hold our bodies can actually influence how we feel and how we behave. There's been a lot of back and forth over the last decade with people saying that power posing is pseudoscience and the debate has gotten quite intense, all questioning the validity of these power poses and if the effects are real.

Currently, it sounds as though researchers are finding that it can work and they're busy trying to understand how exactly our posture can impact our thoughts and our behavior. So while they're busy trying to prove why it works, let's dive into what it is so that you can practice it and decide for yourself, if this is a tool that supports your life experience in a positive way.
