So he had to stay at Kahanai on the way and set up tents for his soldiers and summoned Pir Bakhsh Khan I, the chief of the Imrans at that time, to inquire about the conditions there and asked what was the name of this area. It is a small tribe and they speak Sindhi and Balochi, Imrani Khosa mostly live in Jacobabad in Sindh and Dera Ghazi Khan in Punjab. Some of the important clans of the Umrani tribe are Rahmanzai, Sethani, Khotani, Subhani, Mehrabzai, Notkani, Patani, Mulgani, Mandwani, Masrani, Hamlini, and Imrani Khosa, etc.
The population of Naseerabad district is less than that of Jafarabad district. Jamali Baloch is dominant in the Jaafarabad district while Imrani Khosa, Bugti, Brahui, and Jamot are in the Naseerabad district.
