The Omen is a Seraph rarity E-Tech shotgun from the fourth campaign DLC for Borderlands 2, Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep. This weapon can be acquired from the Ancient Dragons of Destruction raid boss at the conclusion of that DLC.
This weapon has a unique spread pattern with 9 pellets, one of which shoots straight ahead, and 8 more that create a circle around the center one, expanding and contracting as the shot gets further from the user. Being a Tediore weapon, it has the the throw reload mechanic.
This weapon is very potent and definitely does not suck.
