Garage Renovation Begins! Demo Day + Back to the Studs | Future Home Gym Build [ep.22]

Описание: In this episode, we officially kick off the garage transformation by taking everything back to the studs. 💪

We start by clearing off one entire wall, removing old nails, random plywood, dated shelving, and a heavy built-in workbench left behind by previous homeowners. After vacuuming out decades of dust and spider webs, it’s demo time. Safety gear on, power checked, freezer protected, and yes… a little smashing involved.

This detached garage is being rebuilt into a fully finished home gym, and before we can insulate and frame properly, the space needs to be completely stripped down. Once the walls are opened up, new questions start popping up, especially around how to finish the interior cinder block foundation.

Here’s what I’m trying to figure out:

• Should I fill the hollow cinder block cores?
• What’s the best way to finish cinder block down to the concrete slab?
• How do I make it feel like a proper interior space while fully insulating walls and ceiling?

✔ Start rebuilding this into a functional gym space
