For those watching prep work is really everything and Tony did an outstanding job showing how they prepared the roof prior to the application of our Butyl Liquid Rubber. Whenever you have exposed seams, it is critical that you tape them off otherwise over time the stress of the expansion and contraction will cause any coating to crack. Our Butyl Liquid Rubber is very forgiving with many roof surfaces; however, you do need an acceptable substrate. Our product is not a "cure all" this is why we always suggest an adhesion test on those questionable roofs
