Hello! My name is Niko, and I live at Odsherred Zoo Rescue, a sanctuary that provides a safe home for over 600 animals. Our mission is to offer refuge to animals from across Europe, many of whom have been victims of animal testing, the illegal pet trade, neglect, or abuse.

At Odsherred Zoo Rescue, we care for a wide variety of animals. From big cats and lynxes to lemurs, foxes, camels, chameleons, iguanas, raccoons, gibbons, marmosets, porcupines, goats, horses, llamas, servals, vervet monkeys, and so many more.

Rescue Animal Stories:
Kato, the Desert Lynx:
One of our more recent rescues is Kato, a stunning Caracal, also known as a desert lynx. He was saved from a private owner in France, who was keeping him confined in a small apartment.

The Fur-Farm Foxes:
Another rescue close to our hearts involves the last fur-farm foxes in Denmark. We were part of a team that helped save these foxes from the fur industry.

Our Mission:
Our goal is to educate and inspire people with our animal rescue stories. We believe that by sharing these stories, we can encourage everyone to take better care of our animals and our environment.
