She’s also a leading biotech entrepreneur, with several life science start-ups under her belt. In a rare interview, Doudna talks about the current work at her Innovative Genomics Institute at the University of California, Berkeley, where scientists are applying genome editing technology to diagnostics, drug discovery, agbiotech and even climate change.
