STORYLINE:
Italian skier, Federica Brignone, won a second gold medal at her home Winter Olympics on Sunday, dominating the women's giant slalom final in Cortina d'Ampezzo after coming back from a career-threatening leg injury.

"I am here with two medals around my neck," Brignone said speaking to reporters on Monday.

"I haven't lost a day of physio therapy, and I've never worked so many hours in my life. On the other side I didn't undertake the perfect preparation, I didn't train on the days I wanted," she said.

She said she now wanted "a little quiet" and the ability to take a long trip without having to return for training commitments.
