This is a homemade sweet, salty, spicy, and tangy poha mixture prepared without using much oil. No added preservatives. However, it can be stored for 3-4 months. You can tweak the sugar and salt according to your liking. This is a Ningol Chakouba special. Advane Ningol Chakouba to all the ningols of Manipur.
Ingredients:
Poha - 1 kg of very thin poha
Refined oil - one and a half cup
Dried fruits: ground nuts, cashew nuts, almonds, watermelon seeds, sesame seeds, raisins, one dried coconut
Curry leaves
Slid green chili
Salt
Sugar
Black salt
Hing
Turmeric powder
Fennel seeds
Amchur (dried mango) powder
Jeera
Cumin
Red chili powder
