Deersky’s Soundteller Records welcomes Isaac Differding back to the label with a new EP entitled ‘Waiting For You’. The Argentinean artist last appeared on the Polish imprint in July of 2017 with his ‘The Forest Voices’ single. A pair of remixes for 3rd Avenue and PHW Elements have made for a great 2018 and now finding his way back to Soundteller Isaac presents his first original productions of year.

Beginning with the title selection the Argentine traverses the emotive waters of old school progressive house with a production that is both musical and memorable. It’s sturdy framework proves to be the perfect vehicle to tease harmonics across the first act before ultimately opening up during the break for a journey into effervescent tones and wavering overlays. The drop is a beauty, nicely scaled back, letting the musical elements and a uniquely corky kick carry it home.

The second selection ‘The Last Days’ continues the timeless melodic ethos of the EP with another classically styled progressive creation. Clocking in at nine minutes and with a break that spans over two it’s a trip into fuzzed out tones and warm bass swells. Undeniably poignant, it’s smooth chord changes and subtle modular build makes for an unforgettable centrepiece that you’re going to want to listen over and over again.

The release concludes with ‘Winds of Arabia’ which is a touch deeper and more playful sounding. Again the emphasis is on musicality as two gorgeously intertwined tonal themes meld in harmonic unison. Simple but oh so effective it rounds out a welcome return to Soundteller for Issac who has delivered some of the most emotive creations of his career. Highly Recommended.
