The Corpus Callosum is a large white matter tract that connects the two hemispheres of the brain. It is an incredibly important structural and functional part of the brain. It allows us to perceive depth and enables the two sides of our brain to communicate.
Midbrain, also called mesencephalon, that is composed of the tectum and tegmentum. The midbrain serves important functions in motor movement, particularly movements of the eye, and in auditory and visual processing. (MM_EAV)
The Forebrain also called Prosencephalon is responsible for a variety of functions including receiving and processing sensory information, thinking, perceiving, producing and understanding language, and controlling motor function. The two major divisions of forebrain are the diencephalon and the telencephalon. (FT_SIMPL)
The Hindbrain also called Rhombencephalon coordinates functions that are fundamental to survival, including respiratory rhythm, motor activity, sleep, and wakefulness. It is one of the three major developmental divisions of the brain; the other two are the midbrain and forebrain.(HRM_WS) sleep and wakefulness also can say consciousness
Classical Conditioning is given by Russian physiologist Ivan Pavlov in 1902, it is a type of unconscious or automatic learning. This learning process creates a conditioned response through associations between an unconditioned stimulus and a neutral stimulus.
Operant conditioning (also known as instrumental conditioning) is a process by which humans and animals learn to behave in such a way as to obtain rewards and avoid punishments.
B.F Skinner in 1948 developed Operant Conditioning. It is a learning method in which a specific behavior is associated with either a positive or negative consequence. Thus, this form of learning links the taking of certain voluntary actions with receiving either a reward or punishment, often to strengthen or weaken voluntary behaviors. Classical Conditioning is a learning process focused more so on involuntary behaviors, using associations with neutral stimuli to evoke a specific involuntary response.
Observational Learning, method of learning that consists of observing and modeling another individual's behavior, attitudes, or emotional expressions. (Albert Bandura)
