This method is just for the seconds hand and wouldn't work with minutes and hours hands as you'd get Rodico gumming things up. When I started doing modding, setting the hands always proved tricky, with the seconds hand being the most fiddly.
I've never liked those little hand setting stands with 3 or 5 pushers on springs and prefer to use this type.
I still use a blob of rodico on the end of a pegwood stick to help position the hour and minute hands.
So for the seconds hand, I simply use a miniscule bit of Rodico on a flat tipped end tool, pick up the hand and place it all in one movement.
Tools are Horotec and came in a set from CousinsUK. Movement is a 7s26.
