For the past four years, we have built support and the 2020 virtual celebration was held in 28 cities across six time zones. This year, we will reach out to more cities and are hoping for even better participation, both nationally and globally. Visit our event detail page for participating cities.
New this year, we are going to introduce a Guinness World Records™ (GWR) attempt (fully online) for “Most People Performing a Drum Roll Online Simultaneously”. You are welcome to join this exciting initiative and help us set this new record.
The event will run from 10 am to 12:30 pm (PDT), filled with virtual drumming performances and interactive workshops. Followed by celebratory simultaneous drumming across the country, the event will conclude with the announcement of the result (hopefully successful). Everyone is welcome!
By uniting participants from all communities and cultural backgrounds, this event aims to celebrate Canada Day through simultaneous nationwide drumming to promote diversity, multicultural harmony, peace, and love for a better world – as reflected in our mission statement.
