Eat like a Hobbit! Bilbo's Seed Cake (Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit)

Let's journey to Middle Earth as we have an invitation for elevenses at Bilbo Baggins home! He's sure to make some wonderful food but we'll surprise him by making and bringing a Hobbit favorite; Seed Cake. It's so good we'll have to resist the temptation to eat it before we get there!
What you'll need:
3/4 c Butter, room temperature
1 c Superfine Sugar
3 Eggs, beaten
2 c Self-Rising Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 1/2 tsp Caraway Seeds, roughly crushed
Zest of 1 Orange and 5-6 T Orange Juice
1/8 c Sugar
Beat butter and sugar together. Gradually add egg and flour, alternating between the two. Add baking powder, caraway, zest and juice. Pour mixture into greased and lined with parchment 2 lb loaf pan. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake for about 1 hour in a 325 F degree oven or until a skewer comes out clean. Let cool in pan for about 10 minutes.
