Both of these accessories for the Meta Quest 3 come at a low price bracket, and with the exception of their controller grips, this unfortunately shows.

The SUPERUS silicone grip covers for the Meta Quest 3 controllers protect the majority of the controller, except for the top face area. Small cut-outs around the top silicone cover allow the IR emitters to cast from the controller sitting inside.

Install is done in seconds and the controllers simply sit inside and the top covered edges keep the whole grip in place and prevent the controller from sliding out. Its silicone material is the kind that will pick up lint, dust and dirt when controllers are placed or land on a carpeted floor or table surface.

Its knuckle straps are good enough for its price range. They are attached to the grip via moulded points on the grip. There are no buckles or rivets to create any discomfort, but the catch is that if the thin connections ever break, the remaining part of the straps soon become useless on the grip.

For $18.99, these grips aren't too bad, but for a little more you could pick up some better-quality alternatives out there.

The SUPERUS head strap is basic at best. For your $29.99 you get a hinged Elite style head strap for your Quest 3 to attach to. Being hinged you get the benefit of easy installation and removal of the headset, but here is where the pros start to end on this strap.

From out of the box, the whole feel of the strap feels its price, perhaps less so. It's so lightweight and is marketed as a balanced head strap, but without any rear weight, there is no balance. The top strap isn't padded either, which is entry-level when you compare it to similarly priced head straps for the Quest 3.

Then there's the rear pad. In images, it looks super comfortable, with its inner curved middle lower section. On the surface, this padding is meant to help with verticle comfort at the back of the neck, but because the head pad doesn't remotely touch the back of your head that well, this is a missed opportunity. The rear pad is velcroed on the rear part of the strap, so you can adjust it up and down a little, but not enough to get any benefit or extra comfort from the pad. In short, it's very disappointing.

There's a token feature of some cable management on the side of the strap that you can clip in a power cable from a battery pack or a Link cable for PCVR play, but if you don't intend to use it, it's always there, sticking out of the side of the strap.

So that's the high-level issue, but with a tin material top strap, non-functional rear pad, and a questionable rear adjustment dial, matched the overall build quality and materials used, this head strap from SUPERUS should be avoided, unless you can find some particular feature that you personally find value in, sadly I cannot., and you're only just $10 away from a much better built, higher quality alternative
