My first foray into the Death Grips discography. Being new to noise rap, I don’t feel like I have much justification providing any critiques of this album…

HOWEVER

I am pleased to say after my first listen & replaying through editing, this album is a complete surprise. Combining elements of grunge, metal, punk and hip hop, “Year of the Snitch” is a nonstop thrill ride. I mentioned this in the review, but this album really feels like an oldschool arcade; each song being a different cabinet that you test your luck out on and spend the whole day figuring out its mechanics, and I am very much looking forward to do so.
