Описание: In this video, we review the latest EV, the 2024 Cupra Tavascan VZ. Positioned within the large Volkswagen family, it fits between the ID.4 and the Skoda Enyaq, sharing the MEB platform and much of their technology.

For speed enthusiasts, the Tavascan VZ features two engines producing a combined 340 hp and 545 Nm of torque. This 4.64-meter-long, 1.60-meter-high, 2,273 kg Cupra reaches a top speed of 180 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds. The standard Tavascan, known as the Endurance, has a 286 hp engine driving the rear axle.

The Tavascan is powered by a 77 kWh battery, offering a range of 522 km (WLTP) for the VZ and 568 km (WLTP) for the Endurance. Charging performance is moderate, with DC charging up to 135 kW and AC charging at 11 kW.

Priced at €62,990, the Tavascan has some drawbacks. At my height of 1.83 meters, the rear seating was very cramped, and headroom was lacking. Additionally, the haptic feedback buttons on the steering wheel were frustrating, as I often accidentally pressed them. The brakes also struggle with the vehicle's weight, requiring significant force to stop.
