Wide Kerf Blade in a Small Festool Saw?? [video 605]

Описание: In this one I’ll be fitting a wide-kerf flat ground #grooving blade to the little #Festool #tablesaw, and I’ll look at what I needed to do the saw to make that work, why I’d want to do this, and for what end result.

Be aware that making a non-through cut like this will require the manufacturers blade guard to be removed. Your safety is your responsibility; I would not attempt this personally on a saw that doesn’t have a sliding table and if you feel at all uncomfortable when considering cuts like these you should not attempt them.

I’m not recommending that anyone does this, this video simply shows what I I have done to achieve them, so you can make an informed decision before buying a costly blade.
