At Piston Lab, we've been on this gradual diet for our BMW E46 M3. One of the most effective ways to lose weight we found has been changing from lead-acid to lithium starter battery.
We started few years ago, running the Touge 500 battery from Deadweight Industries, which weighed around 4kgs. We've now moved to the Touge 200 battery which is around 2kgs.
