Описание: The Montane Lakeland 100 is a classic 100 mile race in the UK. Along with South Downs Way 100 they are the most prominent and well known 100 milers in the country.

Lakeland 100 is notoriously difficult to enter. Years ago it was done on a first come first served basis and it always sold out within a few minutes. These days, like so many races, it is done by lottery. I was lucky enough to finally get a place after about 7 years of trying.
