Chunxi Road 春熙路is a pedestrian shopping street in Chengdu, the capital of China's Sichuan Province. More than 700 shops can be found here including large shopping malls, department stores, supermarkets, street stalls, and boutiques, as well as modern cafes, and a public square.

Next to Chunxi Road is Yanshikou commercial circle. It is served by Subway Lines 2 and 3 of the Chengdu

Located in Jinjiang District, this road in a broad sense covers an area of about 200,000 square meters (2,150,000 square feet).

Chunxi Road is one of the must-visit places in Chengdu since it is the most prosperous pedestrian street and the fashion center of the city. Strolling around this well-known business street is one of the free things to do in Chengdu. You can purchase fashionable clothes and have some tasty food. Restaurants abound and you can easily find just what you are looking for. At the junction of Chunxi Road, there is a relief wall made of granite, depicts scenes from various fairs of the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907) .  

Chunxi Road 春熙路 was built in 1924 to connect two commercial centers, the East Street and Mercantile Corporation. After nearly 100 years of evolution, it is now the center of fashion in Chengdu, but also a place that brings together delicious snacks from all over the country.
