I have not tried the Microblaster yet but the Sierra Blaster seems to work well blasting rock for me. It's like mini dynamite.

We are trying to get to the Colorado gold nuggets that lie beneath these huge glacial boulders. Blasting boulders sure is fun!!
This is a great gold prospecting tool. Gonna give this a try hardrock mining too.
