The Split AC is a smart helper whose only job is to take heat out of the room and throw it outside.
👉 AC does NOT create cold.
👉 AC removes heat.
That’s the secret.

Parts of a Split AC (Two Friends 🤝)
1️⃣ Indoor Unit (Inside the Room)
• Evaporator Coil
• Blower Fan
• Air Filter
2️⃣ Outdoor Unit (Outside the Room)
• Compressor
• Condenser Coil
• Condenser Fan
Both units are connected by copper pipes carrying refrigerant gas.

Step-by-Step: How Split AC Works ⚙️
🔹 STEP 1: Hot Room Air is Sucked In
• The indoor fan pulls hot room air.
• This air passes through the air filter (dust removed).
🧠 Think like this:
Room air says: “I am hot, please cool me!”

🔹 STEP 2: Evaporator Coil Absorbs Heat
• The air passes over the evaporator coil.
• Inside this coil is low-pressure, cold refrigerant.
• Refrigerant absorbs heat from room air.

• Air becomes cool
• Refrigerant becomes hot
The cool air is blown back into the room 🧊

🔹 STEP 3: Hot Refrigerant Goes Outside
• Now the refrigerant is hot.
• It flows through copper pipes to the outdoor unit.

🔹 STEP 4: Compressor Increases Pressure
• The compressor squeezes the refrigerant.
• Pressure ↑ → Temperature ↑
🔥 Now refrigerant is very hot, high-pressure gas.

🔹 STEP 5: Condenser Coil Throws Heat Outside
• Hot refrigerant passes through condenser coil.
• Outdoor fan blows air on the coil.
• Heat is released to outside atmosphere.
📌 That’s why hot air comes from outdoor unit.

🔹 STEP 6: Refrigerant Becomes Cold Again
• After losing heat, refrigerant turns into high-pressure liquid.
• It passes through expansion valve / capillary tube.
• Pressure suddenly drops → Refrigerant becomes cold again ❄️

🔹 STEP 7: Cycle Repeats 🔄
• Cold refrigerant goes back to indoor unit.
• Heat is absorbed again.
• Process continues until room reaches set temperature.
