The Supreme Court of Pakistan has allowed Barrister Salman Safdar to meet PTI founder Imran Khan during the hearing of appeals against the Toshakhana criminal case trial. The court appointed Salman Safdar as a judicial representative and directed him to visit Adiala Jail and submit a detailed report on Imran Khan’s condition and the facilities provided to him.
Chief Justice Yahya Afridi instructed authorities to ensure that no obstacles are placed in the meeting. The court will review the report in the next hearing scheduled for February 12.
